Martial law may be used by government to enforce their rule over the public. You may be interested to discover the answers of the following several questions that come to mind…
1. Under what circumstances might the government declare martial law?
2. What would happen if Martial Law is declared?
Let’s have a look…
With very little attention, the federal government is preparing for the possibility of a man-made electromagnetic pulse (EMP) attack or a solar geomagnetic disturbance (GMD) that potentially would create a nationwide blackout for weeks or months.
Recent news reports indicate that at least three federal agencies are making contingency plans for such events.
The EMP Commission to Congress reported that if the power grid was down for a full year, upwards of 90 percent of the population would die, either from starvation, sickness or civil unrest.
The most public action was taken by the Pentagon, which has decided to move its command center for North America into an EMP-proof bunker. In April it was revealed that the headquarters for the North American Aerospace Defense Command (NORAD) and the US Northern Command were moving back into an underground facility inside Cheyenne Mountain outside Colorado Springs.

Desperate to rebrand conspiratorial concern about the coming Jade Helm training exercises – fears that it could be an attempt to bring martial law to ‘hostile’ Texas – the media is spinning its wheels to portray opponents of the military occupation as racists.
Yes, concern about martial law and a military takeover under an emergency pretext is now racist… not because the issue clearly effects everyone, but just because there’s a black president… that’s a good one.
Denial runs deep. Disturbing preparations for martial law and civil unrest have been ongoing for decades, and ramping up since 9/11, not since the election of Barack Obama. Yet, the system has been in damage control mode sense news of the training exercise spread on the web, and sounded the alarm about potential threats to liberty.
They insist: No, Jade Helm isn’t a military takeover of Texas.
The Washington Post talked to locals in Bastrop, Texas where Jade Helm will be headquartered – deliberately dragging racial tensions into a debate about centered around growing federal government power over states and the people that has been going on over the course of many presidents.
“If it were any other president but Obama, it would not be an issue.”
“The truth is, this stems a fair amount from the fact that we have a black president,” said Terry Orr, who was Bastrop’s mayor from 2008 to 2014. “People think the government is just not on the side of the white guy,” Orr said.
Bastrop’s current mayor, Kenneth Kesselus [said] “The middle class is getting squeezed and they’ve got to take it out on somebody, and Obama is a great target.”
The Jade Helm backlash has been a “red flag” that our county “still has a lot of things they need to come to terms with,” Jackson said, including the anger and disrespect being directed at the president.
Another man was “shocked by what he views as racist undertones in much of the objection to Jade Helm.”
This is the most ridiculous tactic yet tried to counter those troubled by the militarization of America and the hidden intentions of those who are in power.
Though many were against these things when they surfaced under George W. Bush or Bill Clinton, it is apparently the sign of a “sick country” that has “deep troubled issues” about race… and… something about the Confederate flag… and racism, against military occupation.
Mastering the human domain indeed… with the age old tactic of divide and conquer.
As Alex Thomas of Intellihub points out, it is a masterful misdirection from the real issues of military training in American cities… even as we’ve been shown how they could be used domestically during crises:
To put this hit piece in perspective one has to sit back and remember what has actually gone on in the last three months.
We are literally seeing dozens of urban military exercises with a strong domestic focus being conducted across the country in the lead up to Jade Helm and instead of investigating this fact, one of the biggest news outlets in the country has decided to instead imply that all the Americans worried about the training are racist.
The concern about martial law has – again – been going on for decades amid eroding civil rights, declarations of emergency powers, increased disregard for the Constitution and Bill of Rights and systematic violations of Posse Comitatus, the 1870s-era law that bars the federal government from using military to police domestic America.
This absurd article may fuel another false media narrative about race (in the attempt to downplay the scope of Jade Helm) but the issue is squarely about tyranny and dictatorship – not racism.

The alternative media, or at least the conservative alternative media, has been ablaze with reports of Jade Helm 15 lately. In case you hadn’t heard, Jade Helm is an upcoming military exercise to run from July to September. That in and of itself isn’t anything remarkable, as the military is always running training exercises of one sort or another. Unless they are engaged in fighting, they need those exercises to keep the edge.
But there are a number of things about Jade Help that are remarkable. First of all, it’s probably the biggest military exercise ever run on U.S. soil. Federal law limits what the military can do on U.S. soil and so most military training exercises are held on military bases. Yet this seems to be almost exclusively being run in civilian areas.
This exercise is being run by the Special Forces community, through the various branches of service and is ostentatiously an exercise in tracking and capturing terrorists who have crossed the border from Mexico into the United States. While a worthy training exercise, there are many who are questioning if that is the true aim of the exercise. Specifically, it has been mentioned by a number of people as a potential prelude to martial law.
Why Do We Doubt?

While the media has been busy trying to reassure the public over the frightening tone and scope of the Jade Helm 15 military exercises, it is clear that many Americans are not buying it.
Establishment outlets everywhere are scrambling to declare with authority that there is nothing to see here.
A cursory news search reveals a clear meme being circulated that all is quiet on the front and that Jade Helm is most certainly not martial law training:
But are these media tactics working?
A recent poll conducted by Rasmussen, the country is indeed quite alarmed over the exercise, with a near majority concerned about federal intrusion and apparent preparations to use martial law during crises – perhaps not too much different than what is going on in Baltimore, or previously in Ferguson.
Eight weeks of U.S. military exercises this summer in several southwestern states – dubbed Jade Helm 15 – have some wondering if the government is preparing for martial law. Most voters don’t oppose such exercises, but a surprising number worry about what the federal government is up to.
A new Rasmussen Reports national telephone survey finds that 65% of Likely U.S. Voters favor the U.S. military conducting training exercises in their state. Just 16% are opposed, but slightly more (19%) are undecided. (To see survey question wording, click here.)
Only 21% believe the government’s decision to conduct military training exercises in some states is an infringement on the rights of the citizens in those states. Sixty-two percent (62%) disagree. Sixteen percent (16%) are not sure.
But 45% of voters are concerned that the government will use U.S. military training operations to impose greater control over some states, with 19% who are Very Concerned. Just over half (52%) are not concerned that the government has an ulterior motive for the training exercises, including 26% who are Not At All Concerned.
Among voters who oppose military exercises in their state, 82% are concerned that the federal government has greater control in mind. Just 34% of those who favor the exercises share that concern.
This poll gives documented reasons to think that many are waking up to the abuses of power, not just of police in urban areas, but of the larger system of government using scare tactics to demand more power for all of its agencies.
There are plenty of reasons to be concerned about Jade Helm, but the powers that be are doing everything they can to deflect attention from the merits of this issue – and denial and ridicule, as usual, are the first tools at hand to dismiss public concerns. The Dallas Morning News wrote :
Several websites have spread fear along the Internet that the 8-week exercise this summer in seven states is a ruse to impose martial law and confiscate guns in hostile states.
The conspiracy theory was bolstered when Gov. Greg Abbott this month wrote a letter to the Texas State Guard, ordering them to monitor the exercises to ensure civil rights were maintained.
Rasmussen pollsters said the reaction of those polled to the exercises reflects a heightened feeling of distrust for the federal government among voters.
Almost half of those polled – 47 percent – believe the federal government has too much influence over state governments, but that number has dropped from 56 percent five years ago.
Quick conspiracy theory: Could the identification of Texas as “hostile” in the Jade Helm exercise – conducted to “master the human domain” – be linked to its fierce political attitude towards federal government meddling? Did Texas win the role of ‘hostile’ in the military exercise because of:
a) the previous governor’s history of branding succession from the union as a political rally point, b) Texas’ refusal to give “dual command status” over Texas National Guard to the Fed’s emergency relief powers after Hurricane Rita, c) conspiracy talk and “radio-show driven” fears about martial law, d) its status as a pro-gun, pro-Constitution hold out for a staunch conservative base and a swelling libertarian-minded demographic, or the general attempts to turn the state blue for electioneering purposes, or e) all of the above and more.

There’s been a lot of concern over the upcoming Jade Helm exercises taking place in several U.S. states this summer. The operation to “master the human domain,” as the military refers to it, is such a significant event that Governor Greg Abbott promised Texans he’d have the State Guard on stand-by to ensure the Federal government wouldn’t use the purported training operation to implement a state of martial law. His actions, though attacked by some, show just how far Federal law enforcement overreach in America has come since September 11th, 2001.
There are a great deal of Americans who are scared of where operations like Jade Helm and economic collapse simulations are going. Military, law enforcement and government officials say these types of exercises are just business as usual and there’s no imminent crisis approaching. It’s a typical response from a bureaucracy that has been labeled the most secretive in history, and since very little substantive information is being released to the public by traditional information pipelines like the corporate media, many have turned to alternative sources to gather information they can’t find anywhere else.
Last week, for example, a Texas Ranger made the claim that shackles have been spotted on train cars moving through the state, a report that laid further credence to the notion the government is preparing for a crisis situation where they may have to subdue, detain and incarcerate large groups of people. Given that the focus is on states the government has dubbed “hostile” (such as Texas and Utah) it wouldn’t be outside of the realm of possibility that a widespread crisis, complete with civil unrest that will require swaths of armed personnel, is exactly what the government is preparing for.
The Texas Ranger’s claims were dismissed by some as fabrications, especially since he chose to remain anonymous for fear of repercussions given the stance the government has recently taken with whistle blowers.
But despite the marginalization of whistle blowers and news outlets like Infowars.com, The Common Sense show, and scores of others, the government is obviously preparing plans for dissident roundups in the future. The facts on this are clear and the President even signed a Doomsday Executive Order in 2012 giving himself the authority to seize everything from water and food resources to power plants and skilled laborers should he ever have to declare a national emergency.
Perhaps a federal takeover through a martial law declaration is not imminent over coming months, but how else can we explain the absolutely massive exercises now being positioned across the continental United States?
And what are we to tell our children when they see the war machine in full swing on the streets of America?
Here’s a small selection of what people around the country have been able to record and broadcast as the government gets ready for this summer.
Captured in Slayton, Texas within the last 24 hours:
And if they’re not preparing to deal with civil unrest and large, unruly and potentially violent crowds of people, then what do they need all of these microwave weapons for?
Spotted on I-80 near Reno, Nevada:
Along I-5 in Southern California: “Those trains are full of equipment…”
Helicopters all over the country:
And of course, no “Mastering the Human Domain” military exercises would be complete without dissident arrests. This may explain why the Texas Ranger mentioned above reported shackles in train cars. And, once arrested, they’ll have to transport these people. It’s been suggested that FEMA camps are already prepared to handle large populations of prisoners.
Does this look like a typical training exercise to you, and one that is supposedly designed for foreign theaters of war as claimed by military officials? Or do you think maybe someone, somewhere is planning for a major domestic crisis event in the near future?
