  1. Great ideas! People don’t often realize that using their regular oven daily or taking steamy showers contributes quite a bit to the energy that their a/c must later use to remove all of that extra heat and moisture from their house.

    I really like the idea of using a crock pot to cook a huge roast or pork loin or whatever that will last several meals, and serving the protein with a fresh side of vegetables that don’t require much cooking (if any!).
