  1. Droughts in California are cyclical. This has happened before and will happen again. Just as their will be heavy rains, deep snows and floods again in a few years. California’s problems are self inflicted. They have failed to implement an intelligent water policy because the radical environmentalist own the California Democrats lock stock and barrel. Right now while farms and orchards are dying from lack of water billions of gallons of Sacramento River water flows out to the bay. This happens because the environmentalist have forced this on the California population under the guise of saving some obscure fish or something. Right now, as in every winter, there are half a dozen Northern California rivers that allow billions of gallons a day to flow to the ocean unfettered by dams and untapped for irrigation. California has the water they need they do not have the politicians they need.
