Just days after a major winter storm struck the Northeast, a new snowstorm is following right on its heels.
After whitening the Ohio Valley, the snowstorm continues to press eastward across the Northeast.
The heaviest snow currently extends from eastern Pennsylvania to central New York, but will transfer to southern New England tonight–disrupting travel along the way.
Part of this heavy snow band is riding up the I-95 corridor, spreading across Philadelphia and New York City.
While the snow will begin only as a few flurries, it will quickly become heavy. As a result, road conditions can rapidly change.
If you need to travel, keep a safe distance between your vehicle and the one in front of you. Drive slowly. And be sure to have a pair of gloves and perhaps a snow shovel handy in case you become stuck.
