Brutal cold will not release its grip on Minneapolis this weekend.
Despite more sunshine than clouds on Saturday, temperatures will not rise out of the teens in Minneapolis before plummeting to zero on Saturday night.
The good news is that winds will not be howling, preventing a dramatic difference between actual and AccuWeather.com RealFeel® temperatures.
The same cannot be said for Sunday as breezy conditions return, making it hard to notice temperatures rising nearly 10 degrees above Saturday’s frigid high. RealFeels on Sunday will be held to the single digits.
Cold will also be gripping Green Bay, Wis., on Sunday, holding high temperatures to the lower 20s and forcing those heading to watch the Packers host the Minnesota Vikings to bundle up.
Temperatures will then rebound to around the freezing mark on Monday before fresh cold arrives for Tuesday and Wednesday. Both of these days will be dry for holiday travelers.
Thanksgiving Day is also shaping up to be dry and chilly as a bit of snow likely passes by to the north. – AccuWeather
